25-year Radar Operator for a major agency here, just thought I'd let you all know what has been going on these past few weeks.

The drones are part of a military "drill" being conducted by space force. Everything is on a "need to know" basis which is why there's so much confusion.

I agree with Radar Guy. I believe the drone narrative was organized by the Alliance to preempt a major event. The drones are getting people off their phones and looking UP in preparation for the real Sky Event.
